The Chesapeake P.E.A.R.L.S., Incorporated, a 501(c)3 non-profit entity, was established on April 12, 2007, by the members of The Omicron Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as a vehicle to expand the scope of scholarly assistance and community enrichment available in the Chesapeake and Greater Hampton Roads area.

 

One mission of the foundation is to advance and support education by providing deserving students with the financial assistance needed to attend college.
